I'm a liar, yep! A liar....I pretended to love my natural hair in the beginning, and I did not....I sat up many nights and looked at video after video thinking "Wow her hair is pretty...wish mine could look like that!" and "Why is my hair so tight and dusty?"....Not realizing that this has been the pattern of my life...pretending to be something on the outside, that internally, I have not been...Secure and Confident (at least not 100%). Going natural has been a journey like none other for me...I've been forced to look at myself in the mirror and see the REAL me...natural hair, no make-up, no long hair, NO HIDING! I neglected my hair in the beginning because I was dissappointed in it...it wasn't shiny enough and it wasn't growing fast enough. Excuses for me to not take care of it in the way I should. Because it was winter, I would often put on a hat or berret and call it a day....tisk tisk! I had intentions of making many youtube videos, but after seeing other girls videos, I wouldn't load mine because I felt my hair couldn't compare to theirs...</div><br />I'm glad I&nbsp;took a good look in the mirror, and revealed the real me and made the decision to LOVE that person, natural hair and all! So to all of you out there thinking about going natural who may be scared or those of you already are...Look in the mirror....Admire Yourself and INSPIRE YOURSELF! Those who have positive things to say about your hair are speaking the truth and those who have something negative to say can kick rocks! : P You are beautiful...take care of your natural hair and rock it!
